Does anyone have a link to Voinovich comments
at the Congressional debate. I couldn't find it in the portion CSPAN has on their website. Someone from our group supposedly got up and called Voinovich a liar and was arrested. Does anyone have this footage.

1. They didn't show it...

...it was audio only.

Voinovich stated that Bush was elected and the person in the audience yelled out "No, he wasn't"....they also yelled out something else (I don't remember what) and then order was called for all audience members.

In a few minutes you heard a scuffle but the cmera was never turned on the incident.

Cheers,
Kim

4. A video clip is online
Look in this thread for the Dobbs video clip. Voinovich's comments are at the end of that clip. You can hear the person shouting in the background.

6. This is the "Planet Voinovich" paragraph, ignoring all the documented cases
of Ohio election "glitches" and biased Blackwell directives just presented by Boxer, Lautenberg, Clinton, Harkin, etc.:

From http://frwebgate.access.gpo.gov/cgi-bin/getpage.cgi?position=all&page=S55&dbname=2005_record :

"CONGRESSIONAL RECORD SENATE S55 January 6, 2005

The PRESIDENT pro tempore. Is there a Senator who has not spoken who wishes to speak on this matter? The Senator from Ohio.

Mr. VOINOVICH. ...

Frankly, I am proud of how the election went in Ohio. Hundreds of thousands of new voters took part in their democracy this past November, increasing Ohios voter participation rate to 72 percent, up from 64 percent in 2000. Unfortunately, prior to November 2, unsubstantiated allegations were being made about the electoral process in Ohio. But, at the end, on election day, and at the end of the recount, Ohios Secretary of State Kenneth Blackwell and the bipartisan election boards across the State did a tremendous job to ensure that the election was fair and the results were without question. I want to publicly applaud the good work of those dedicated public officials."

8. I agree
actually I had a minimal amount of respect for Voinovich as compared to DeWine but that is pretty much gone now.
