4. He's discussing why the vote is challenged....
...repeating media take that these representatives and senators want to force the debate today as a last resort to spotlight election process deficiencies.

He read Scott McClellan's WH statement that the purpose of congress is to debate real issues, not conspiracy theories.

He read Kerry's email with the interpretation that we all knew on Nov 3 that there wasn't enough fraud to change anything, including Ohio.

He read Boxer's letter that indicated support for representatives who challenge the vote and praised her for courage.

No indication that anything but making a principled statement will happen today. Might be right, but his expectations for getting to the bottom of Nov 2 have been low since Nov 3.
