2. Any debate would be for two hours.
That's the procedure. But it's limited to 5 minutes per speaker.

5. Someone said Harry Reid said the debate will take 25 minutes or so -

So does that mean there is Boxer plus 4 others? Sounds like it.

6. Yep, that would be only 5 sneators speaking.
Both sides get up to twelve senators to speak. Teh Republicans will probably forgo debate.

Why would the Republican's forgo debate? They are going to be screaming fowl at the top of their lungs, don't you think?

14. To male it end quicker
I imagine the Republican strategy is going to be, "This is not worthy of debate."

16. To get it over quickly
My guess is, most of the Republicans don't have a clue at what's in Conterys' report. They may be taken completely by surprise.

10. For What?
To dance on the heads of the people who stole our votes, that's what.

Those Two hours will last forever, if indeed the dance is done. It will forever be known as the People's Rodeo; our cowboys riding the bucking repukes asses back into the hellhole barn from whence they came.

12. Just sit back and wait for it to end
By 4 o'clock or so, Bush is going to be certified the winner regardless of what happens in the debate.

Edited on Thu Jan-06-05 10:50 AM by signmike
Not necessarily senators/representatives?

And does that mean 12 for each side?

18. The law says
Members. That pretty much limits it to senators and reps.

15. Reframe!

stop looking at it from the point of view of the winner or the loser.

Look at it from the point of view of the voter!

Any challenge is a success! The MSM can not ignore this historic event. All of our collective evidence will now be spotlighted by this event!

20. The Hearings don't start until 1:00 p.m. Are you sure you're not
confusing this with the Attorney General Hearings?
