Why so many threads jumping the gun on Senators signing up to object?

There have been false rumors about at least 3 senators now? I understand that misinformation can be a useful tool to the deluded right, but specifically how is this useful to them? Just an attempt to aggravate the senators, put a spotlight on them? Or an attempt to raise hopes and deflate them, to demoralize the right?

I'm curious if there's anyone here that can enlighten me, what's the point?
