The Dean People have it all set up to contact Senators
If you haven't already flooded your Senators with requests, go to the Dean People's website -- it doesn't get any easier than this!

7. Someone asked just recently what happened to all the Dean people. I
guess this is our answer. They are out doing what needs to be done to try to win our country back from the fundie crazies, the liars, and the thieves who have hijacked our once respected nation.

I am really starting to rethink me previous ideas about Howard Dean. He may not have won the presidential election, but who really knows? What I do know about the man now is that he's a tireless leader in the fight for democracy. I have so much new-found respect for the man since the election it surprises me. And for Dean supporters as well.

12. Howard Dean is who got me active!
I started with the Dean people, then MoveOn, True Majority, ACT, Kerry/Edwards and now CASEOhio. What other Progressive group put together a Campaign Training Seminar?

32. Ah, you need to see this post with old Deaniacs reminiscing.

We are still very active at grassroots level, and many are already planning to run for the local elections this spring. It is amazing.

11. Great site. I found out one of my senators
does not even list civil rights as a topic of concerns. Shameful! This should be brought to the attention of the 20% of African Americans, and other people of color in Ohio who voted repug. The election was full of serious civil rights abuses, but Mike Dewine doesn't care.

Although I don't hold out much hope for my repug senator, but I figure what the heck, let's do it!

I sent an email to the Wisconsin senator Feingold(?) and like many of you I got back an email that as much as said I had to be a constituent.

I'm not particularly worried about this because I can't see the senate doing this again. NOBODY ASKED THEM? WTF? Have they ever read their job description?

18. I love the way this is worded...they said no one asked them.
** Senators are particularly vital. As you may recall from the opening
scene of the Michael Moore movie Fahrenheit 9-11, the Congressional
Black Caucus took a noble but futile stand against the stolen election
of 2000 by objecting to the unlawful Florida electors on January 6th,
2001.

Their effort failed for the lack of the required support from a single US
Senator. In fact, the next day on Meet the Press 2 Dem Senators were
asked why -- their response (in unison) -- "No one asked us." Those 2
Senators were Joe Biden and John Kerry.

They've made it clear: WE HAVE TO ASK THEM -- SO LET'S DO IT!
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
My question is....what world were they living in at that time in 2000 when my heart was breaking?

22. You can fax from here and letters are most effective-this is good-my rep's
website says ten thoughtful well-argued letters are often more effective than a few hundred calls or postcards. They want to know it is important enough to you that you were willing to take the time to write your thoughts and not just sign your name to a form email or petition.

Howard Dean Backs
Focus on Election Fraud

http://www.breakfornews.com/articles/DeanInterview041230.htm

"I think one the things we can all agree on is election fraud is a huge
issue for us.. we can't win elections, ...and we should move on that."

"There is a lot of circumstantial evidence and I think we are getting
some media coverage on the circumstantial evidence, for example the over
vote, Cuyahoga County."

"I think we need to try to get laws passed, by referendum if necessary,
that says that no voting machines in a particular state or jurisdiction
may be used unless they can be recounted by hand."

33. Update to the website.
http://www.thedeanpeople.com/

UPDATE - Let US Ask in Your Name! - We'll Lobby FOR YOU!

That's right. If you represent a group of any type; political, civic,
issue-based, whatever -- we would like to be your lobbyist in DC to
demand that your Senator or Rep stand with Rep. John Conyers to
object to tainted presidential electors on January 6th.

We will have people in DC beginning on the afternoon of the 3rd ready
to make your voice heard - literally. You can arrange for an
appointment on the 3rd, 4th, or 5th and we'll attend as your agents.

Alternately, we can try to arrange for a meeting in your name, but it
would be best that the request - and the reason for the meeting - come
directly from the local group leader/designate.
Contact us to make it happen: thedeanpeople@comcast.net
