Republicans already issueing threats to the democrats
"Get on board or get out of the way."

According the report just given on Judy Woodmuff's show. I had a 45 minute long IM with an online republican "friend" today...all he could say was that he really thought that finally the moderates would reach out to heal the hatred in Washington. I laughed at him, told him he was dreaming...he voted for sound bites and scare tactics; he thought I was taking this too seriously. I said HE wasn't taking it seriously enough.

I guess I was right. Fuck.

2. did you expect anything more?
hopefully there will be some moderate repubs that just say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH with the extremism..otherwise this country is fucked..we need some help...I think Kerry will try to build a bridge with moderates but do they tow the party line..even if that line is so far to the right..that it is horribly wrong?

3. Get out of the way.
You don't want to be on board a runaway train heading over a cliff.

Let them write their outrageous legislation. Pass it. Spin it.

It's all theirs.

10. No, the mindless Republicans who willingly vote against
their best interests, moral values as well as economically remind me of an old black and white "Western" depicting a large herd of cattle running off a cliff. Poor stupid bastards didn't take time to stop and think, "What happened to that cute little heifer ten feet in front of me? Hummm ... maybe I should check this out."

Yes, it is almost UN-frigging-believable = how many lower and middle class Republicans will get figuratively "kicked in the teeth" but immediately cry out, "Thank you Sir may I have another!"

In a word - Pathetic.

14. yep. I'm in agreement
Let them destroy Social security and Medicare, the people who voted for him can watch their elderly parents starve or suffer. Let their daughters die in back street abortions, let their kids die in another country fighting for freedoms they no longer enjoy. Let them watch the rich get richer and they themselves poorer and poorer until there are only two classes in this country. Let them watch the destruction of the federal government under BushCo massive deficit. Let them watch a friend or loved one die from a disease they could have been immunized against.

They voted for this? That's what democracy is. If this is what the majority of people in this country want I have nothing in common with these people. I don't belong in this country. I love democracy and fairness. This country offers neither. I support their decision. That's what being a citizen is all about, though I doubt they would be as gracious if the tables were turned. Blue States need to be annexed by Canada or I suspect there will be a mass exodus of intellectuals from this country.

Sorry it's on such a sad day though! Hope you are doing well and holding up better than me! You are right on all counts! The eyes will be opened wide very soon! Too bad it will be far too late to stop the calamity to come!

22. Hello Friend
Good to see you too. Hope you are well. This is what the American people chose. It's easier to accept than 2000 when * wasn't what the people chose. They will reap what they sow.

Best to you

23. This is exactly what I've been thinking all day
If this is what they want, they can have it. And when it takes the death of one of their kids dying in Iraq, or their daughter dying in a back-street alley or their gampy or gammy dying of neglect to get them to finally open their eyes my response to them will be boo fu**ing hoo. I'm sorry to say but a perfect example of this is that lady who was in F/911 whose kid was killed before she finally saw the light. What will it take for these people to see and admit to what is going on. I swear to God - I feel like I'm living in a world where up is down, right is wrong, good is bad, black is white, war is peace, etc. etc. etc. I am so sick of these hypocritical, phoney, cowardly retards - if you voted for "*" you get what you deserve. Sad to say but we live in a country where 51% of the people are village idiots.

6. Last week we went shopping, a bit too much
and I commented to my spouse that we were spending as it there was no tomorrow.

If Bush wins, came the reply, there won't be any tomorrow. We will be shipped to Cheney's ranch in Wyoming for re-education.

Does Cheney have a ranch in Wyoming?

16. moderate repugs will go fast alright
Day by day we are inching toward a more medieval type of thinking. The religious right ARE the problem. The repukes have pretty much destroyed public education. Polls suggest that 45% of the people in this country actually think people were created "...in pretty much the same form they are in within the last 10,000 years"
We are going to be culturally/technologically eclipsed by Europe and Asia because we are so friggin ignorant. The investor class don't care of course because they can always wall themselves up in gated communities. However someday the unwashed masses will come calling like in Venezuela. How about liberal homeschooling anyone?

15. Hint of things to come.
I just read this hilarious analysis from Newsweak.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6398886/site/newsweek/

"Bush second term could be surprisingly centrist."

Don't listen to a word. The first four years was just the appetizer. Get ready for the main course.

With pukes, in cooperating or not cooperating = the same thing.

History has shown us it doesnt work to cooperate with them at all... remember after 9-11 all the cooperation.
I say the red state dems should say Fuck You in the Ear! The pukes will target them for demolition regardless of their support for bush.
