The country has spoken
As far as I'm concerned, the American people fucking deserve what they've elected. The problem is that we (other DUers and I) will have to suffer the consequences as well. Nonetheless, I wish for armageddon for the rest of those goddamned religious fuckheads. I'm willing to deal with significant financial setbacks in order to see the assholes scream who elected that thing who's occupying the Oval Office. I'll be watching closely to see how GWB fucks up our nation in the eyes of the world--even worse than it's currently FUCKED. As far as tax cuts are concerned, I can't wait to see how that moron plans on paying for all the thing he's promised to his moronic electorate. Get ready, because it's going to be a bumpy ride. . . .

1. im sorry but i think we got jobbed.
im pretty confident that the machines and dirty tricks ate our votes.
while there are plenty of dirt stupid neofundoconservatives I dont believe in a fair election that they are a majority.
Those that voted for Bush will probably get the bonus plan. I hope they enjoy it.

I, on the other hand, have no President.

13. I agree, now.
Before last night's catastrophe I still doubted the black box theories. Not any more. There is no other explanation for the "results" which didn't even closely match exit polling.

2. No.... the MACHINES have spoken
Anyone here ever read Kurt Vonnegut's "Player Piano" ? I can't believe it's not illegal for a company making voting machines to donate to ANY political causes or parties. I'd feel the same if Diebold were pro-Democrat. This is *supposed* to be a democracy. Nothing and no one should stand between the legitimate voter and their choice. The system of challengers is ridiculous in its current state and Kazakhstan's election results are more believable than our own, no offense to Kazakhstan, but America's been at this democracy thing a lot longer. You'd THINK we'd have a handle on it now, but it seems some folks have figured out better uses for our electoral system.

3. Roughly 51% of the country supported a president with less than
50% approval ratings. Will the repub's higher on the food chain care?
Hell no. We are the sorriest civliization. We do everything we can to eat each other alive and then we pray about it.

4. No one is listening
Don't blame your fellow Democrats or Republicans. Most of them are NOT involved in this problem. They voted with their hearts.

We do need to seprate that from what DID happen.

The problem is dealing with how the ballots are being cast and that our party is doing NOTHING to fix this problem.

Laws are being broken and NO ONE is doing ANYTHING about it.

This isn't our friends and neighbors fault tha these things are happening.

No one listened to what the actualy votes said. We will never know. And since Kerry isn't going to fight, then there will be NO evidence to use to defeat the real enemy... BBV!

8. the parties have no obligation to the people, just to $$$
Sorry but after the 2000 election too many people trusted that this election wouldn't be stolen, which is exactly why it could be(and probably was)stolen, and they are just as responsible as those who voted for Bush. I saw countless people who pointed this out ridiculed and called "paranoid" and now that it's too late people want to address the issue.

And I'm not directing this at you personally, but when people stop wanting others to do something about the laws being broken and start doing it themselves shit can change. People need to stop relying on others to enforce the laws and stand up for themselves.

9. Again, this is dumb. Counties don't vote.
Nor do acres.

Towns don't vote.

Heads of cattle don't, even though they probably outnumber people in many red areas.

7. I Marched, I Wrote, I Gave Money, I Talked to Friends
and family and co-workers, I put up signs, I used bumper stickers, I read book after book to educate myself on the issues. Why did I waste my time? The way I feel right now, I will never vote again because it is pointless. The first people defeated by the Nazis were not the Austrians or the Poles. The first to go were the Germans who opposed Hitler and that is how I feel now, defeated by my own countrymen and watching my nation descend into a fascist state. It will take international help now to end this nightmare.

11. Well?
Isn't that what they want you to do? After all that hard work, why give them the satisfaction?

We have to work smarter, not harder next time. And that includes getting rid of BBV, for once and for all.

12. This has been my main fear for a long time now...
I'm becoming more & more convinced that we can't defeat these fascists alone. It will take an international coalition. WW3.

And each & every one of *'s supporters are accessories to the crimes committed by this administration.
