We have to be prepare for the worst and use civil disobedience
The stench of death is on America, thanks to * voters. We are in deep deep trouble, and we will all suffer for the stupidity of half of America. Because of * we will get hard by terrorists. I think that * will start new wars. We will all suffer because of the arrogance and sheer evil of this administration and the blindness of right-wingers. * will continue to work to dismantle our Constitution.

So, we have to prepare for the worst. (1) for those with children of military age within the next few years, please get a plan to protect them NOW. A safe house either here or in Canada, etc. is a good idea. Get a plan. One idea is to get them into a foreign University. Don't let them die for * !!! (2) start economic boycotts immediately. (3) work slow-downs. (3) Civil disobedience. Don't cooperate with this fascist regime any more than you have to.

I'm just a tired old nobody, but I'm going to do my best. I owe this at least to all those brave protesters who worked to secure my freedom and rights in previous eras. Stick together.

This is the darkest day in American history, but don't give up. Never surrend to these fascists. Remember that even during the darkest hours of history there were resistance fighters.

Resist.

5. Fuck you and your stolen elections.
Just because you pulled these two off doesn't mean you'll keep stealing forever. WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH!

13. Get real.
Nixon did not have a complacent media. Bush does.

Nixon did not have a Republican-controlled Congress. Bush does. Moreover, Republican congressional leaders at that time were men of higher moral integrity than Tom DeLay. They would go so far for Nixon, but when it was obvious that he was guilty, they stopped defending him. DeLay wouldn't care about the facts. In his eyes, a Democratic president lying about love is worse than a Republican president lying about war.

4. Passive aggressive
I intend to be in full passive aggressive mode. Yes, they can push me around for now. No, they do not have my permission to do so.

I am going to hold back and wait for the disasters to start piling up. Then I am going to put the blame where it belongs, squarely on the shoulders of the scared little rabbits, the bigots, the religious wack jobs, the misogynists, and the greedy SOBs who voted for these thugs, and "Well, we didn't know" is NOT a valid excuse.

It took Europe two world wars to break through the smugness of empire and the white man's burden. It may take that much here, and I'm sure the Bush gang will be only too happy to deliver.

8. I'm going to enjoy watching
bush trying to get out all the mistakes he has made, Iraq is a total disaster, I see no hope there. Our economy is not going any where, the job market horrible, health care out of sight, and outsourcing out of control. OK lets see how he gets out of this. If he decides to add another war or two, well , I say let the voters who put him in take him out!! I;m patient, this time I WILL NOT spend the next four years in anger and frustration! I'm 70 and I will not waste another four on this little prick and his regime. I want to watch the explosion, and enjoy the show! I am f---ing tired, and worked hard for this election. I'm done for now.

6. Are you on crack?
"There were no questions this time around people - no Floridas, no recounted votes."

Are you fucking kidding me? A third of all people voted electronically! No paper trail. Something stinks here and THAT'S what we need to "face up to" - and quick.

11. I think you're right.
I like all those ideas, although an economic boycott will be easier said than done.

We the people can do this. In my mostly conservative hometown, they didn't want "liquer by the drink" being served. Well, it got voted in anyway one day when it was sleeting. The town thought that they would get progress only to find that newly opened places serving alcohol were closing down due to people not being willing to give them business.

I realize you all might not like my conservative example, but it's a good example of how the people can defeat a fascist regime (although a local goverment allowing alcohol isn't fascist, you see my point).

14. I'm all for civil disobedience....
But I fear the days to come will bring a good deal of uncivil disobedience. But maybe that's what it takes for these people to realize that they can't just steamroll over half the population.

Maybe that's why they promote the death penalty, the invasion of Iraq, and healthy whacks-upside-the-head discipline....it's because that's the only way messages sink into their pea-brained, bigoted minds.
