The Great Divide
No matter how this whole mess sorts out one thing is clear. This nation is clearly divided and that divide is not only widening but hardening.

This is exactly how the controlling cabal wants it.

If you look at the electoral map it is clear that the US is on the verge of becoming 5 nations - the solidly blue northeast. the solidly blue west coast, the solidly red south. the solidly red western mountain states, the solidly red midwest.

Before this is all over I suspect a few things will happen.

There will be a major global financial "accident" during the next 4 years of the regime.

There will likely be one if not more major terrorist attacks on US soil.

There will be more than one scandal that reaches directly inside the * WH.

There will be a major confrontation in the ME, most likely involving Iran and Syria.

And the divide will only get greater.

The radicals on the right will never attempt to bridge this gap. It is where they derive their power. The feed off the fracture. It is left to us, if we want to remain the United States, to take our anger and apply it not to revenge, but to building a Progressive machine that can do battle with the Right's juggernaut.

This means, first and foremost, a concentrated effort to establish a media beachhead. AAR is a good first start, but we need a much stronger voice on the satellites and cable channels as well. We also need to develop the think tanks and attendant funding structures where we are so wholly deficient.

And yes, we need the churches and congregations that reject the politics of division to get more politically active.

It took the Right 40 years to craft this divide. It will take us a decade or more to countervail it. But if we do not roll up our sleeves and get to the task, we will surely cease to exist as a nation.

1. Yes, but we will be getting closer to the Rapture
And isn't that what we all really want anyway?

2. Don't forget Illinois
Solidly Blue, solidly MidWest. My home state.

Otherwise I agree 100%. This isn't over. I will forever fight for my freedoms.

5. Never Forget
I haven't forgotten. A ray of hope.

I suspect the midwest is the most likely place to begin to bridge the gap. There was a time when Prairie populism was in flower and I suspect it could happen again.

But first we need to stop thinking about those who disagree with us as the enemy.

The enemy is the anti-democratic global cabal that is flexing it's muscles as we speak. Many people will be crushed under the wheels of this machine.

While we hate our neighbors, they are consolidating control.

This has to stop.

6. Pax Tax
I can barely pay my taxes I am so disgusted.

But we owe it to the rest of the world to derail this careening locomotive. We have to transcend this anger and disgust or we all will perish.

The first step is to use this energy constructively.

After the dust has settled, and the anger and disappointment begins to fade, it is the nuts and bolts construction of our own machine that needs to take place.
