Absentee Ballots - Don't give up
Apparently Florida has more than a million to count and unknown how many are in Ohio yet to be counted.

Not even taking into consideration of provisional.

Was abseentee hyped on the republican side as an effort to bias the walk-in election polls and hope a concession would happen before everything was counted?

1. More Dems voted absentee than repugs
fear of Diebold, and all that.

2. Exactly.
ANd the military ballots are going to favor Bush as much as they did in the past.

3. Buddy Dyer won his seat in Orange County on the
basis of absentee ballots. I think this has to be played out.

I URGE THE DOWNTRODEN HERE TO SEE OHIO THROUGH, BUT DON'T TAKE YOUR EYES OFF FLORIDA!!!!
First This
Daily Kos :: Florida numbers vs 2000 - something is wrong

Kerry-Edwards Online Forum

Then this

What I don't get is all the focus on Ohio. According to the numbers, Bush is up by 140,000, and with between 150,000 and 250,000 provisional ballots.
I understand that Kerry is down by about 300,000 votes in Florida, but with almost 1.6 MILLION provisional and absentee ballots uncounted. With a HUGE effort to get ex patriots to vote, I don't agree with the assertion that the absentees will favor Bush

I URGE THE CAMPAIGN TO SEE OHIO THROUGH, BUT DON'T TAKE YOUR EYES OFF FLORIDA!!!!

Thoughts?

Every vote needs to be counted - don't concede Kerry :)

We may have florida after all.

6. Kerry shouldn't concede until he has a reasonable estimate of how many
uncounted votes are out there, and can make a guess whether the numbers add up. If, say, in Ohio, there are less than 175,000 uncounted votes and Florida doesn't have enough to overcome the gap, then Kerry should concede and get it over with.

7. But if you read the threads around here..
.. you'd think Kerry had lost it. I agree.. count ALL the votes! And.. I wish people would STOP posting things on DU this morning as a post mortem on Kerry's campaign.
