The Push for Theocracy is about to begin in earnest
If Bush wins the day, prepare for a full frontal assault on the wall of separation between church and state, and count on:

1) Theocratic restrictions on civil liberties

2) Theocratic restrictions on scientific research.

3) Theocratic restrictions on public school curricula (esp. biology and sex education)

2. The surprise would be if a second-term Bush DIDN'T do this ...
Watch out for him taking a leaf from fellow zealot Tony Bliar's book and "inviting" religious wacko businessmen to "co-fund" inner city schools which teach Creationism and such.

Church and State? Jefferson? Who he? Sounds like some Frenchie pinko-liberal Saddam apologist to me. Don't like the sound of that atheist Lincoln, either.

4. Stickers to warn against learning
They are already pushing for creationism stickers on science texts in Cobb County, GA -- the same school board who earlier went through the textbooks and used a black marker to eliminate the word "evolution," caused a big uproar and had to undo their stupidity. The new stickers read: “This textbook contains material on evolution. Evolution is a theory, not a fact, regarding the origin of living things. This material should be approached with an open mind, studied carefully, and critically considered.”

One of the religious leaders in the fight for this sticker against an ACLU lawsuit recently emailed all his church zealots (where they also literally preach Bush from the pulpit), asked for their support, and sent an outline for their secret Amicus brief to be introduced in court next week. I happened to get a copy, but I never head back from the ACLU whether or not they wanted it.

In any case, yes -- it has already begun and has been in full works for the last four years. The theocracy will now proceed with a mandate, a docile populace ready to be bent to the will of the NeoCons.

6. Indeed - we need to brace ourselves
Woman's right to choose? Gone.
Reinforced sodomy laws? Count on it. Good way to lock up those lousy faggots.
Judges encouraged to rule based on "God's Law"? Here already, it'll just get worse.
Eradication of free expression? In the works.
Federal regulation of who you can like, hate, fuck, or pray to? Every Republican's wet dream.

I have to say it. FUCK the so-called "God" these evil bastards pay lip service to. Whatever that cosmic thug is, it is NOT my God.
