Australian DUers, where are you?
I mean geographically. Where abouts are you posting from? (And don't say Australia! :P)

I am in Adelaide, South Australia.

So yeah, it'd be nice to know...

22. Yes I would think Tony is going to run again
well I hope so, he is a fine man and well liked in the northern suburbs. Bob Day is replacing Trish Draper. Day is a millionaire builder who has a big electoral office at his business premises in Modbury. Day is a builder. The interesting, perhaps wry point, is that if interest rates go up, as the pundits suggest they may, that this very sensitive area in the mortgage belt (Makin) may do in Bob the Builder. I can but hope!

You're in Torrens for the state seat. Sitting member is Robyn McGeraghty (sp) Labor.

Bad news. You're still in Pyne's seat.

28. Christopher Pyne. The rod up his arse has a rod up it's arse.
He reminds me of a school prefect who just studied all the time,
and sucked up to all the teachers. Is he in a safe seat or
did he have to win it.

29. I used to live there
There are not many nice words I can say about Pyne...

Labor would need an almost 7% 2PP swing against him to take the seat - maybe if Labor can keep this lead it has into the election (highly doubtful) it could happen. However, even if this year is a Labor landslide, don't hold your breath for Sturt following the trend. There are an awful lot of Bible Belt voters there who will fight to keep Chris, no matter what the cost...

31. I wonder how many Kiwis there are at DU?
I've never seen many, though nowadays I mainly hang round in the very placid and quiet I/P forum and don't visit the upstairs forums much at all, so I wouldn't know if there's many New Zealanders at DU....

36. The I/P forum is placid and quiet?
Slow-moving at times, but I always have to take a deep breath before visiting and occasionally
posting.

I find it the most exhausting forum, mentally and emotionally.

in the five years that I've been on DU. Unfortunately none of them seem to post on a regular basis -although one or two came out for the last New Zealand election. But I haven't seen the original two New Zealanders I knew on here for about four years

38. Let moi exploin then
Hey Esra! Yeah, a tad vague. It's a site with torrents(I assume you are familiar with Bitorrent?) that are all Australian or NZ TV shows. A load of sport, too (no AFL, mind you). They have good stuff like Four Corners, Chaser's War, and Clarke and Dawe, too. diwana.org.

Just thought that it has been good for me, being an expat OS and all, and that any other DUers might be interested.
