Vote in Democratic Primaries from abroad?

I feel like I've been from one end of the internet to the other and can't figure out if Democrats Abroad can vote in primaries... It seems like we can't, but I'm not sure... I've registered with the state of California, and voted last election from here in Canada, but my husband and I were discussing primaries and I had no idea...

Does anyone happen to know? Thanks!
