1. Well I'm not going to begrudge people a street party if they want it.

I'm fairly sure you won't see any where I live, but that's partly because it's very hilly where I am and it's not easy to hold a street party on a 1 in 3 hill.

As to the Cameron's holding one in Downing Street, well if they want to that's fine by me, although again Downing Street would not be the ideal location for a street party for a whole number of reasons, even if it is a nice photo op for a politician.

but I think that if this is Cameron's big issue at the moment, either he's got a very strange set of priorities, or he's trying to distract people from the mess his government is making. Probably both.
