Conservatives for International Travel, the grassroots group that supports keeping the cost of flights as low as possible, today applauded the decision by the Prime Minister to go ahead with a third runway at Heathrow.

C-fit spokesman Nick Reeves, said:

"It is about time the Government made a decision on the future of Heathrow and we applaud this decision.

Without a substantial increase in airport capacity in the South East of England, ordinary families and individuals will end up paying substantially more to go on holiday and the cost of business travel will skyrocket, damaging the ability of smaller businesses to travel abroad to sell their goods.

This means that some Conservative tossers are "applauding" the Labour
decision to screw up the environment while the party line itself says
that the decision will be reversed.

Personally, I think that dicks like this ("grassroots group that supports
keeping the cost of flights as low as possible") need to be kicked hard
until they understand the damage that airports and airlines do at the
moment instead of being allowed to continue damaging the planet for the
sake of saving a couple of quid.
