1. A centrist Tory, forsooth?
I wonder who bankrolled that one? Very much the same mindset that suggests a "moderate Republican" would be a better bet for "progressive" America than either of the "socialists" peddling "socialized medicine".

The Skin is not blind to Ken's shortcomings but would urge his Bruvvers and Sisters Daan Sarf to heed the old adage:

"And always keep a-hold of Nurse
For fear of finding something worse"

.... in this case, something very much worse ....

2. not sure I agree there...
Ken is a disgrace to the Labour Party and to progressive politicians everywhere in my opinion.

6. Given that no-one is pretending that this is other than a two-horse race ...
... I think the answer to that one is pretty clear!

It amazes me that there appears to be an (albeit self-appointed) left-of-centre lobby working openly and unashamedly for a Johnson victory.

I couldn't imagine that happening if he had gone carpet-bagging for the Mayoralty of any other city!

8. Fair enough.
But you know as well as I do that he isn't going to win.

So is Johnson really your fall-back position?
