One in 3 scottish 15 year olds has smoked cannabis
According to the daily mail... and 12% "stimulants" (probably means
cocaine).

Gosh, and they're all criminals, let's fill the prisons!!! ;-) And all
this after a policy of drugs war and silly criminalization over the
past several decades... leading to what? Is anyone capable of realizing
that the drugs war is a complete farce, that it alienates a generation
from any respect for government policy, that it is a gross failure
at reducing drugs addiction? How many generations must
be imprisoned until somebody sorts out that 1/3rd of a population
breaking the law is an indication of the law being grossly out of
touch with reality.

Is anyone out there facing the facts?

1. Are you sure that isn't "taken smoked haggis"?
If anyone should be locked up, it should be for eating haggis. :silly:

2. Haggis is good
Its taken me years to get over my revulsion to it, but i accientally
ate a bunch of it at a restaurant, slipped on my plate by a chef who
figured correctly i'd be fooled... and i only recall commenting on
how excellent the "mystery dish" was... to be shocked!

I've become a fan of vegetarian haggis, and even have one in the fridge
right now prepped for the oven. Blood sausage... now THAT is a crime.
(black pudding) (sneaky name that!) Even good bangers are growing on
this old coot. :-)

3. Sorry. I was just embracing a culinary stereotype.
Quite honestly, any dish that has withstood the test of time...can't be all that bad.

:hi:

5. Wasn't it Burns Night last night?
That's normally as good an excuse for Haggis as any!

It's just the neeps n' tatties that worry me!

9. To each his own
I love Scrapple -- a breakfast 'meat' native to Pennsylvania Dutch country that is the leftovers of a pig after the ham, bacon, pork roast has been used. It is mixed with cornmeal and lots of seasoning added to it. You fry it up. I like to put ketchup or Maple Syrup on mine
It is SO GOOD, but some people won't even look at it.

7. i always wonder how the daily mail gets its data
Surely as confessing to a "crime" is itself admissable to a court as
grounds to imprison said youth with insane drugs laws, likely many
answers are fudged. I'd wager its around 50%. Then it begs the question
of what sick whackos in government consider 50% of their young
constituents criminals. That the young don't vote, and they wonder
why, begs the intelligence of anyone in parliament.
