I don't know how many of you have heard about the softwood lumber dispute between Canada and the U.S.A...The Americans are charging an illegal duty on softwood lumber and refuse to comply with the terms of NAFTA....Canada has had several rulings by the arbitration board of NAFTA, which is made up of an equal amount of Canadians and Americans...The decisions in Canada's favour have been unanimous, by all members of the board....Martin spoke to Bush in South Korea and spoke out in front of the other world leaders who were there....I'm sure Bushie wouldn't be too happy about being spoken to in this manner....It does my heart good to see this...I've been wondering when Martin was going to get tough...While it's not exactly a tongue lashing, it's a start!
