Please take "A Pittance of Time" to honour our veterans ...
Please watch and listen to the video at this site. The song is written and sung by a Nova Scotian and asks only that we take "A Pittance of Time" to remember our veterans and all that they have sacrificed.

I am overwhelmed by the Canadians' show of remembrance for
its veterans. In the States, at least, the parts I'm familiar with,
people act as if it's just another day. :(

The red poppy is a poignant reminder. (From "Flanders Fields", I'm
assuming?)

3. Yes, the poppy symbol was adopted as a direct result of the poem
Yesterday was amazing. There was a record turnout in Ottawa to pay tribute to our veterans and the numbers that came out in my little city was phenomenal as well.

4. I'm glad the turnout was so good
McCrae's "In Flanders Fields" has always been one of my
favourite poems.
