5. Ragou aux pates do cochons means...
...Pigs Feet Stew.

I don't make them with pigs feet, I use ham hocks.

It's basically ham hocks and potatoes in a very thick gravy. It's salty and delicious and it makes my house smell like my Grandmaman's. She babysat me, my sister and my cousin when we were little, so it's a big dose of nostalgia.

I make it once a year, my arteries won't allow me to have it more, and it's MINE! ALL MINE!!!

MWAAAHAAAHAAAHAAAAA!

I can post the recipe if you like.

6. It's great to be married to one too!
Since I can't cook in French OR English....

Luckily hubby is an amazing cook - Pate chinois, tourtiere, tartes aux sucres, and more...

mmm... I'm hungry now.... this is YOUR fault!

9. Looking forward to Christmas just for the tourtiere
That's "Go crazy making all kinds of tourtieres" time... Luckily... Otherwise I'd weigh 500 pounds...

And thank God we can't get those fresh cheese curds like in Quebec here in California, or I'd be wanting poutine too...
