TDSB wants apology from Tim Hudak on ‘homophobic’ flyer

The chair of Canada’s largest school board wants Progressive Conservative Leader Tim Hudak to apologize for a “homophobic” flyer sent out during the provincial election.

TDSB Chair Chris Bolton has yet to receive a response on a letter he sent Hudak and Ontario PC President Ken Zeise asking for a retraction regarding “inaccurate and misleading comments” made on the flyer that misrepresent the policies of the board.

But the PCs told the Star they will not apologize.

The flyer, distributed mostly in the Peel Region area by the PC campaign, depicts a child writing on a blackboard quoting a TDSB resource guide entitled “Challenging Homophobia and Heterosexism.”
