Well said post BTW>
Bulger said his nephew didn't talk to him much about his work in Afghanistan.
"He loved his country and wanted to do his part," Bulger said.
Part Of what? Canada has no business being in a war or any other kind of conflict in Afghanistan. The Conservatives are only trying to bag their share of foreign oil down there, pure and simple. The flag waving sickos that cheer them on to go over there and die for George W. Bush's "policies" and Haliburtons corporate well being are patriotically retarded! In WW1 and WW2 there was an evil that had to be dealt with, and, being part of the Limy world, we had to go. But, it was a worthwhile effort even if we hadn't been tied to the Brits, who, incidentally, gave the Alaska pan handle to the Yanks in a dispute after WW2 for payment of the lend-lease deal between the US and Britain as thanks to bailing them out. There is no honor in this conflict, and it only serves to create more heartbreak to those whose loved ones die there. Bush is gone... get Canadians out of there and put them back in Peace keeping roles and helping the world rather than bleeding men and women and Canadian tax dollars on a war with no honor.
