1. BC politics
Reading the comments thread on the cbc.ca site is pretty funny. BC always comes across as the laid back province, but in reality it has been a hotbed of 'quiet' corruption for some time. Good points about how the media handles NDP 'scandals' (put it on the front page and keep it there) while liberal or socred scandals are treated like 'peewee football scores'. I've always thought that BC Liberals are a different breed altogether...much more comfortable dealing in 'soft' corruption.

2. yeah, but that comment was bullshit
Liberal scandals are hammered just as hard as NDP ones were. It was the CBC that broke this story and it all came from investigation. None of this was handed to them.

Like the Gestapo-style attack the Mounties did on Glen Clark over a stupid freaking deck.
