4. I wouldn't call her a Fundie....She does work building homes etc. for poor

people, with whatever church she belongs too from what I have heard. I think of "Fundies" as sanctimonious people who think they are better than we mere mortals. That's not Cindy. She doesn't talk about her faith unless asked about it. I think she's an incredible young woman, as is Clara Hughes who won the gold in the 5000 meters race. Hughes has taken the money she has in her savings account ($10,000) and donated it to the Right to Play charity started by the Norwegian speedskater Koss.

5. I see. I had simply heard that she

describes herself as a born again christian (can't even confirm if that part is true, only heard the rumour), a term that tends to leave me skeptical. She does, however, deserve admiration for this incredible feat.

Clara Hughes is the only canadian to win medals in both the winter and the summer games. Now that is cool.
