Conservatives taking a page from Bush Republicans' instruction book?

The Conservatives all have their talking points down pat. No matter who is asked about the fact that Harper went after Emerson from B.C. and appointed the unelected Michael Fortier from Montreal, they all answer exactly the same way. They say, "Mr. Harper needed someone from each of those areas to be in cabinet" and they expect that to be acceptable as a plausible answer. Harper needed it so Harper did it! They don't seem to get it that what has been done is not democratic. I have heard several of them say almost the exact, same words...Just this morning it was Jim Flaherty spouting the party line....These people act more and more like Bush's Republicans, don't they?

2. Yes, I know there are some who think like that but many of the prominent

ones, for instance Jason Kenney gave the party line and others I heard but can't remember off the top of my head...Let's hope there are enough unhappy ones to cause a revolt in the party.
