Only 10 more days 'til State Convention
I'm actually looking forward to this!

The convention itself will be a lot of fun....but meeting my fellow DUers face-to-face is going to be a BLAST!!!!!

I must have no life at all because this may be a high-light of my year.....oh yes, one more thing....the Food Nazi won't be coming along! Makes me soooooo sad.... :sarcasm:

Meeting everyone should kick ass. I love these conventions... it's the one time a year I am guaranteed to have political conversations and not get so entirely frustrated by stupidity that I explode.

It's so much fun being around like-minded people... maybe that's why DU rocks all so much as well. :)

Sure you do. I just read a lot and allow myself to take in all of the Orwellian crap Bushco is pulling. The anger fuels me to work harder for progressive causes.

Who'd have thought that after having Republicans in office for all but four years from '69 to '93 that things would actually be crazier and far right radical now then even in those times? At least there were a lot of moderates on the right back then. Now it's all lock in step with the Neo-Cons.
