question for milwuakee/waukesha/state dems

i dunno if this is the right place to do this, but, i'm relatively new around here, so be gentle with me ^_^;;

i'm in school to be a graphic designer and i'd like to put my skills to use helping the local democratic party/pols out by offering them my services.

i'm sure there are people i can talk to, but as i said, i'm new to this, and need a good swift kick in the right direction....

assistance appreciated, job offers even more so :D

1. A good place to start...

Look for first-time candidates. They have little money and even less skill in graphic design. Offer to do some pro-bono work in designing campaign literature. You're not going to get rich, but you'll get some good experience and you'll meet some people who might be able to help you later on.
