6. What a voice for Wisconsin
The voice, incidentally, is a near duplicate to "Porky the Pig" which seems to be appropriate considering the company he keeps.

Northeastern Wisconsin has always had trouble making sense of things. Perhaps it is the strong Catholic demography that encouraged the likes of Joe McCarthy from Appelton... whatever the case is... we had better find some ammunition for these fellows. I simply right off all but Door County.

8. tis a small world
It is good to see the likes of you in this neck of the woods. Last winter the PDA took over the sorry excuse for a Democratic Party up here in DC.... I think we may be able to get some things going for the better.

Great to here from a kindred spirit.

9. I hear ya.
During the campaign, I stopped in GB to see how I could help. They didn't have anyone running a county campaign, and I was one of three people passing out signs here in Algoma. The county dems have their meetings, but usually publish their photos and reports of meetings AFTER their events. Silly geese - they don't know that I might be able to join them if they'd publicize ahead of time! :)

11. Unfortunately the PDA may burned a few too many unnecessary bridges

in their unfriendly takeover. I hope you are right, but in a county with such a low percentage of active Dems, making enemies of even a few is sloppy and delays if not jeopardizes success entirely.

Language such as "sorry excuse for a Democratic Party" won't build any coalitions either.

But I wish you luck with that.

15. If Warner Brothers wouldn't sue...
I think using Porky the Pig as a surrogate for Sensenbrenner in campaign literature would be a hoot!
