I posted this the other day,but it didn't garner much support.I thought to let the credit card companys know of our displeasure with them we mail back ALL the applications we get everyday in the mail.To add to the cost fill the envelope with other useless junk mail,they have to pay postage.I figure if we could get a couple hundred thousand pieces of mail delivered postage due that should get their ATTN.If nothing else it would sure make me feel better!

saying "WHY DO YOU HATE AMERICA" and "PREDATORY LENDING SUCKS" and I'm going to return EVERY PIECE OF CREDIT CARD JUNK I get with that over my info.

as I was feeding three of those comeons into the shredder.

I'll still shred anything that has my name and address on it. I think they'll get their pamphlets back in those envelopes.

on the address/"offer number" part of the come-on. I don't think they can get it off without ripping it.

I am also telling them that The number of credit cards a person has affects their car insurance rates!

5. I've called Kohl's and Kind's office twice . . .

Every time a get a staffer who seems to not know that a bankruptcy bill exists every time they tell me that the person that knows is not in today and they will have someone get back to me . . . so far nothing, nada, zilch. I informed both offices that I have never voted for a Repuke in my life, but I would have a hard time voting for either of them in the future because of their votes on the bankruptcy bill. I might as well vote for a repuke in the first place if that is what I am getting by voting for these turncoats. How in the hell can either of them defend their votes!! I want an answer and I'm not getting won. I urge every Wisconsin voter who is as pissed as I am to call and raise holy hell - this can not go unanwered and they must answer the voters!

I want these bastards (especially MBNA) buried in protest responses to their loan shark come-ons!! And remember the biggest slap in the face to that industry -- PAY YOUR BILLS AND DON'T BUY INTO THE MEGA-CONSUMER MINDSET. They want to own us. That's what low wages, fleeing jobs and EZ credit are all sbout, they're all connected. RESIST!

14. Been doing this for years with all junk mail....

...if there's a postage paid envelope in it...I rip the contents in half and mail it all right back along with the envelope it came in. If there's room I stash some other company's junk mail in there as well.

The only problem I have with your post as it relates to the bankruptcy legislation is that its not the credit card companies who voted on this legislation - "Our" representitives did --- you're punishing the wolves rather than those charged with guarding the hen house.

20. I've been doing this for years

I send it back with a request to remove me from their mailing list. But I like the idea of putting labels on the application that slap them around a little for their greed.
