Did anybody catch Ed Garvey on WPR this morning? He argued that Mike Tate needed to "walk the plank" after Wisconsin had the worst Democratic election results among any state in the nation. Later today a friend emailed me a link to Garvey's blog ridiculing Tate:

I don't see a need for a circular firing squad, but I also expect the party leadership is in for a makeover. I also expect many county parties will also see new leadship. Right now people are still in shock, but that's going to turn into seathing anger in short order.

polls last summer/Fall which showed a lot of competition between Feingold and whomever they "corporate personhood" were throwing at him..... So as sad as that is to realise that big money purchased themselves a Senate seat, that anger needs to be placed at the foot of those who deserve it...... Not those working hard to get great people like Sen. Russ Feingold re-elected. Mr. Garvey should use his web site to educate the Wisconsin voter on why finance reform is neccessary, and the outcomes that will take place when they target a great state like Wisconsin......

I'm curious of what will become the turning point for Wisconsin voters when the drill oil at any cost mentality looses its luster..... How in the world can Wisconsin vote a man in who uses prison labor and promotes creative destrution as a business model?

2. How in the world...indeed. Approximately 33% of Wisconsinites
have the I.Q. of a turd, and even less common sense.

3. Its absurd to blame one person for Feingold's loss.
I don't think anyone can fight the irrational anger of the masses. I thought that the Feingold campaign, and the Coordinated Campaign did everything they could for the Democrats- they had lots of volunteers and were better organized than any year until now, including 2008.
