What are the latest numbers on the senate race?

I just saw Timmy-boy's latest ads, and I was curious as how the numbers are stacking up.

1. Money from GOP

I don't know the current numbers but I do know the GOP coughed up $600,000 to him. They had promised something like 1.2 million. Just saw a new ad for him featuring Guliani. Yes, the same Guliani who said our troops were to blame for the missing explosives in Iraq.

2. Jeff Wagner on WTMJ said Russ was up by 5% in one poll...

(yeah, right), but other polls such as Zogby have Russ by 15% or more. You know Jeff: relays the information to give it his best spin possible. Why, oh why do I listen???

3. Russ numbers

While I was working at the Kerry Rally in Madison I talked to one of his staff and she said Feingold is up by 20 points. He is one of the best liked politicians - by Republicans too - that I have ever seen. He can't take it for granted, but he should win easily.

I heard that number yesterday, as well - Feingold up by 20. When we were phonebanking into conservative parts of Columbia County a couple of weeks ago - we were just asking who they were voting for in the Presidential and the Senate races. It was not unusual to hear people say that they were planning on voting for the shithead for president, and Feingold for Senate. The people I know who are on Feingold's staff are trying not to take ANYTHING for granted, and not to get cocky, but I have little doubt that we will be keeping that great Senator!
