Was Anybody In Wausau Today For The Shirley Abrhamson Event?
I was there, and Judge Ann Walsh Bradley mentioned me! I ran into her yesterday at a gas station in Wittenberg, and we had quite a talk. Anyway, she mentioned that, and that I was a teacher, etc., etc. Dang!

1. Double Dang
I was there as was my daughter, Goddess40. She now knows what you look like in the flesh. I know you put your picture on line a while ago but we didn't put two and two together. I thought you were from Shawano, not Bowler so that didn't ring a bell with me either. It should have hit me when she said you were a teacher but I guess my brain was not with it. Are you coming to the 7th CD convention? If so, I won't miss you again as I will be at the registration table. How about the State convention in Green Bay? I still owe you a drink. A bunch of DUers usually get together in the evening at some watering hole and you must join us. Ewagner, Sybella, Jackpineradical, Madashell as well as some others belly up to the bar. Can't wait to meet you.

Isn't that Justice Abrahamson just the coolest person? She has to win. Kosnick is going to be in Wausau today. Can't wait to miss that.

2. Actually,
I live in Eland, and teach in Bowler. I was completely shocked when she mentioned me. I was taking pics with my camera, and got part of what she said on video too.
I am on spring break this week, and am sicker than shit today. I have a cold that could kill a horse, and I've never had laryngitis this bad in my life!
But I sure had an interesting day yesterday. Anyway, glad we connected, sort of.

P.S. I didn't know that Ann Walsh Bradley was the daughter-in-law of John Bradley, one of the Flag raisers Of Iwo Jima. I actually met Betty Bradley, and we had a great discussion. I was telling her that last year, one of my students chose to portray John Bradley in our annual "Wax Museum." Long story here, but she sure seemed to like that.
