5. smooth as silk.
the poll that I worked had 2 wards voting. we had 2 legal observers (from our side) and 3 poll watchers(from our side).. and, note, none from the other side.. of course, we were all at our "non-partisan" best. .our polling site was so well run that two of my fellow poll watchers were pulled to other locations by the campaign guys. I gotta wonder if every polling site had as many of our volunteers as mine did? that's a lot of people on the ground! one of the legal observers came up from Chicago. I worked the polling site by my house on the near south side.. so it was really cool.. I knew all the old ladies who were working the polls... so they were cool with us being there.. although one old lady kept giving us the stink eye. our numbers when the poll closed were 2:1 in favor of Obama (guess all that door knocking and phone calling paid off!)

3. Love the green grass against the fall colors. The yard signs are nice too!

4. Thanks. We're Not Done Raking Yet, And You Can Probably Tell
that raking is no small job at our house.
