The F-16s are flying out of Truax once or twice a day

I see or hear five of them taking off once or twice a day because they are pretty loud and I am not that far away. They're very cool to watch, of course but it seems like an awful lot of activity...

1. I work nearby in their flightpath

I think I've seen or heard them at least several times per week for over a year. Usually they are in flights of three. I've always assumed they were training or refresher flights.

:shrug:

They are hellish loud sometimes, though not as loud as Oscar Meyer's is when they blow out their furnace (or whatever it is that they do that makes my windows shake...)

2. Been seeing them "up nort" too.

Been crossing my fingers that it's just standard training and not prep for an October surprise.

3. I've seen 5 in formation twice while I was out

at the dog park. It feels like right after 911, but I hope there is another explanation.
