Has anyone ever been to Fox Fire gardens
I went today and was greatly impressed. It doesn't hurt I'm a hosta nut but the grounds are gorgeous. http://www.foxfiregardens.com/

It's near Marshfield and a short walk down the road is Jurassic park - where a retired lawyer makes the coolest sculptures out of scrap metal.

1. No way! Today?
I was just at Jurrustic park today - about 1:30 - buying a birthday gift for my mom. I've never been to the gardens. I didn't think they were open to the public anymore.

2. I missed you by an hour
The gardens are open every day from 10AM - 4:30PM - Maybe you should take you mom there for part of her birthday gift.
The owner told me has about 1200 varieties of hostas!

4. You've heard the saying "familiarity breeds contempt"
My parents have lived within about a mile of the place for 31 years and they know the owner. He was on the town board and school board. There's enough contempt there that it wouldn't be much of a birthday present, unfortunately.

To quote Monty Python. He's been relatively harmless politically.
