Hello Wisconsin. Connecticut DUer here and I need your help!
I'm sending "greetings" to my Republican brother in law in Madison Wisconsin for his birthday roast. I have been on GD asking for some good "roast" witticisms here http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x2659237

But I need your help! Since this roast takes place in Madison there will be lots of Madison folks there. Do you have some local stuff, or state stuff, nice and liberal, that I could sprinkle into my greetings? Can't be really dirty or mean, just good natured fun... and I don't mind poking a little fun at myself as a "latte lovin liberal contemplating my upcoming HillaryCare."

Also, we share a summer house in Door County where we go for 3 weeks in August. Anything related to Door County is also good.

Thanks for your help!

5. That's great!
I could probably say that I hoped he could use his connections to get me tickets to "BobFest" next summer, being that they're so hard to get!

3. Madison is affectionately known as 72 square miles of
(fill in the blank-- liberal heaven) surrounded by reality.

4. I'll be using one of my past greetings to him in "The People's Republic of Madison."
Sometimes I refer to my city as "The People's Republic of New Haven." They're very similar politically, but Yale is not nearly as large as UWM.
