Who's going to NYC on the buses out of Madison?
My mother and I are going. I'm not looking forward to the bus ride because my back hurts, the Dr. thinks I sprained the joint between my spine and hip bone (translation I sprained my butt) personally I think it is just my arthritis gone wild.
I've loaded up on the heat packs, drugs (legal of course) and a cushy pillow to sit on.

1. What a patriot! Participating in the process in spite of a sprained butt!

2. I took a bus from RI to DC last November.
I think the bus I was on was a "52-seater". Very, very uncomfortable. Ask how many seats are on your bus. A very comfortable bus would have about 42 seats.

3. The bus was fine - but after you ride for 24 hours
nothing is going to be comfortable. They charter very nice buses, comfy seats, for the first few hours, restroom, TV. People weren't meant to sleep sitting up though.

4. You've got my applause!
I've done the Wisconsin to DC trip a couple times, and they are never easy. I would suggest also some Tylenol PM, or generic equivalent to help you sleep. Also some extra water bottles so you don't get gouged on the road. Thank you for protesting for us who can't go!
