Wise asks for employment exemption from ethics law
http://www.wvgazette.com/section/News/2005010422

Gov. Bob Wise and two high-ranking members of his administration have asked the state Ethics Commission for permission to begin job hunting.

Under the state ethics law, state officials and employees cannot seek employment with any persons or businesses regulated by the state for six months after they leave public office.

Wise, Department of Environmental Protection Secretary Stephanie Timmermeyer and Bureau of Senior Services Commissioner Ann Stottlemyer each requested exemptions to the “revolving door” prohibition.
