Faith-based group to host NRA seminar on personal safety
A faith-based group formed to combat drug usage and trafficking in Wyoming County is expanding its horizons with a National Rifle Association-sponsored seminar on personal security.

On the fourth day of Christmas — Dec. 28 to be precise, at 6 p.m. — One Voice will host a “Refuse To Be A Victim” seminar conducted by an NRA official, Jim Cozort.

One Voice, a non-profit group, brings participating pastors across Wyoming County each Saturday for a prayer meeting.

In each session, the clergy and other One Voice members seek means of prevention, intervention and education to fight a drug problem executive director Debbie Davis describes as “terrible” in her region.

1. Inviting the NRA to a personal safety seminar
is like inviting Colonel Sanders to a "Poultry Safety" meeting.

What are they "thinking"?!
