Seattle folks, come see the Seattle Lesbian and Gay Chorus
this weekend! We're doing My Big Fat Gay Wedding (and we take a couple of swipes at Bushie and the proposed anti-marriage amendment in the show). We're actually a very inclusive bunch; pretty much every point on the Kinsey scale is represented somewhere, by someone in the chorus. And some of us move around from day to day. ;-)

If anyone's interested, our performances will be 6/12 and 6/19 at All Pilgrim's Christian Church, 500 East Broadway on Capitol Hill in Seattle, at 7:30 p.m., or we'll be doing a third show at ArtsWest's ArtsPride Festival on Friday, June 25, at ArtsWest in West Seattle. Tickets for all shows will be available at the door, or at the websites:
http://www.slgc.org (for the 6/12 and 6/19 performances)
http://www.artswest.org (for the 6/25 performance at ArtsWest)

We'll also be performing one song at the Pride rally following the march on 6/27. We're a non-profit organization that depends on ticket sales and donations to survive, so please consider coming out and supporting the chorus - and incidentally, catching a great show!

1. I would love to come!
That sounds fabulous. I'll probably check you out at your Broadway shows. (Must write this on calendar now!) Sounds divine! :D

2. I've seen the Chorus - they sound like angels...
I'll put the dates on my calendar and try to get there.

3. Look for me in the soprano section!
I'd say look for the redhead in the soprano section, except that most of the soprano section is redheaded these days. I'm one of the two that come by it honestly, though! (and I'm the only redhead whose hair is down to her hips)

It's going to be a fabulous show!

4. Don't know if I can be there..
..but I'll bookmark the site for future performances. Does the chorus ever perform down Tacoma/Olympia-way?

5. No, we're pretty much Seattle-based
I wish we performed in the south, myself, since I live in Auburn.

6. Update: Second show is this Saturday!
same time, same bat-channel. The show went very well last weekend, and this is the last chance to see it on Capitol Hill. We'll be in West Seattle next weekend, which will be the last performance. Don't miss it! :D
