Platform committee meeting May 16 in Ellensburg

The Washington State Democrats Platform Committee will be meeting on May 16th at 10:00 a.m. at the Ellensburg Inn in Ellensburg, WA to draft the 2004 Washington State Democratic Party Platform and Resolutions. While only appointed Platform Committee members will be allowed to revise and vote on the drafted 2004 Platform and Resolutions, ALL Washington State Democrats are invited to attend the Committee Meeting as guests. The drafted 2004 Platform and Resolutions will then be posted in a discussion group hosted by either Yahoo! or MSN. Democrats are encouraged to review the document and offer suggestions as to how the draft could be made more inclusive and representative of Washington State Democratic values. that means we won't go through the same nitpicking wordsmithing nonsense on the platform at the state convention that we went through at the King County convention. Gawd, for all I know, they're STILL there bitching about an "and" or a "the" in the "wrong" spot.
