Replace Fun Forest with Green Space at Seattle Center Petition
A group of civic leaders is being assembled to submit a response to the Seattle Center RFP to be free public green space at Seattle Center rather than the proposed Chilhuly private commercial exhibit. Please sign the petition by June 3, 11:55 p.m. to add your voice of support to this.

1. Seattle has more than enough free public green space as it is...
That's like Los Angeles petitioning to have another freeway.

What Seattle Center needs is some sort of replacement for Fun Forest -- a place for enjoyment and amusement. Replacing it with another glass museum, more "green space," or a vegetable garden where kids, for a fee, "can learn about dirt" (already in place) doesn't do it.
