Anyone who remembers the Foley-Nethercutt race (1994?) should know better than to let him have any more play, no matter how bumbling and "human" he tries to be.

That advertisement is a typical * tactic, gain trust to give the impression they are human; once gaining trust, screw 'em to the gills.

in another ad. Scoop (D), Maggie(D), Dan (Evans, Liberal Republican from the day) and in total asshat mode, leaving out Tom Foley (D!), the Goddamned Speaker of the House Nethercutt unseated using his 'Term Limits' Lie. Or his "Term Limits for everyone but ME" wheeze. Totally screwed this state removing Foley. He would have been minority leader, instead we got Lying Freshman Asshat Nethercu*t.
