Man accused of giving nursing wife meth water to "give her energy to clean the house."
CHEHALIS, Wash. -- A man has been accused of giving methamphetamine-laced water to his wife in the Morton area at a time when she was nursing a 3-month-old baby.

Lewis County sheriff's Deputy Stacy Brown says 35-year-old William Lee Bieber is in jail for investigation of endangerment with a controlled substance, second-degree assault, domestic violence and five counts of witness-tampering.

On Wednesday Bieber was arrested again after detectives determined that he had called his wife 51 times from jail, despite a no-contact order. He's now under investigation on an additional 51 counts of violating the no-contact order.

Investigators say Bieber used the identification numbers of other jail inmates to place the calls.

Brown says he told authorities he made his wife drink meth water to "give her energy to clean the house."

But I guess the authorities really know what's best for us.

11. No kidding, if it bothered him, why didn't HE clean it?
Honestly, that male mindset of being entitled to the services of an unpaid maid is just astonishing. I've seen women readmitted to the hospital after bursting open surgical wounds because the husband demanded their usual housecleaning services.

And people wonder why I live with a cat.

6. More to the story from the original article
Lewis County Prosecutor Michael Golden said he hasn't charged Bieber yet because there is no physical evidence of the endangerment charge yet. Detectives are looking over the 51 phone calls from Bieber in jail.

"There are a lot of moms who use meth, have a baby and we can't really do anything about it," Brown said. "Doctors don't come forward with that kind of information."

Seattle PI is a perfectly worthless rag that just can't resist destorting the Hell out of a story. I rank them right up there with the National Enquirer

9. That may be,
but I don't see the hell of a distortion. He said why he gave it to her. They left out the last 2 paragraphs, but the gist of the story was true.

13. How did they destort (sic) this story?
they left out a line about other mom's doing meth and this is...."destorting the Hell out of a story"?

Thank you for your opinion. Everyone has one.

12. What an asshole!
Not only was he feeding meth to his wife, he was also feeding it to his baby through her breast milk. But then, he's obviously so stupid, that would never have occurred to him.

I hope they have him cleaning the mess hall every single day!
