Heard that Murray creamed Nethercutt in the debate

Hubby got that impression from the radio broadcast. He got audio only from the presidential debates, and thought Kerry had only a slight edge. It's always been my impression that Murray isn't the sharpest knive in the drawer, but she seems fully capable of taking care of business now.

2. I saw about 15 minutes of it on C-SPAN

She did well. Better answers. Very serious tone to the debate. They were sitting at a table. One question I heard was about the tanker plane contracts. Murray connected with a comment that, despite the scandals that threatened the contract for the new planes, the men and women who fly the old (47 yrs old) tankers need newer, safer planes. Her opponent looks like the typical Repuke scumbag - but, I am in Hogland (AR) so not familiar with Washington State reps and Sens.

We need to keep our women Senators and add more. I think we would have far fewer wars if women had more power.
