the difference between a tunnel & replacement viaduct
in terms of the iraq war. which we're all paying for, whether we want to or not.

monthly expense of iraq war including equiptment replacement: $8.1 billion

8.1/30 days avg. month = $270 million/day.

tunnel cost estimate: $3.4 billion

replacement viaduct estimate: $2.8 billion.

3.4 - 2.8 = $600 million.

600/270 = 2.2 days of the iraq war.

or

$600 million = a new sonics arena.

Frank Chopp, pull your head out of your ass.
