1. Talked to Senator Webb Last Week
He was at a meet and greet in Richmond. I asked him about the vice presidency. He gave his nice smile and said sometihing to the effect of...I'm not going there...I got the feeling he was pleased that I asked the question. I can't think of a better VP for Obama!

VA will lose a Dem in the Senate. We're going to have two if Webb stays! Yipee.

6. More than that...
webb is a highly decorated marine (a bonafide hero). he has extensive foreign policy experience. he's STRONGLY pro-2a (second amendment). he's agressive and outspoken. his down-to-earth, even macho, personality nicely balances out obama's somewhat loftier, elegant, aomewhat gentle, demeanor.

the perfect team to attract independents and more progressive republicans.
