What would you guys think about having a fundraiser or even just an event for Jim Webb here? The setting is gorgeous. We could arrange to sell drinks, food and get a band to play. I heard through the grapevine that we could almost definitely count on Webb, possibly Warner. Might be a great opportunity to get the dems in the area together as well as raise a little cashola. I'm thinking towards the end of the summer, (for strictly personal reasons because of Mike's surgery and healing)

Sorry, I hadn't seen this before right now.

That would be very exciting to do! What does it entail? I think it's great if the Webb folks would help us with setting it up because I have never done something like this before and they may have a successful "template" we can follow. Let me know what we need to do!

And sounds like the beginning of a DU Virginia state meet-up. Especially if you can get our Rock Stars, Webb and Warner, and who knows, the campaign office may help you attract some national Dem stars too :)
