GOP corruption additions?
Howdy!

Me and another DUers, OKThatsIt are working on the "mother" of all collections of GOP corruption, crime and creepiness. This "scorecard" list is also appearing on the Randi Rhodes Show website, and we're updating it once a week. Here's the link to the post thread "State by State GOP Scandal Scorecard" which is in greatest/general discussion.

Anyhoo--the list is growing and growing, but we want to be thorough, so we're inviting fellow DUers to review and post links to stories about their state's GOP creeps on this thread.

Thx.

2. You are missing the biggee
Va. GOP caught listening into Dem strategy meeting (wire tapping) and THEN they sued their insurance company for not covering them for their illegal actions. They were bankrupt and wouldn't have been able to field candidates had it not been for the suit and money from Sen.Warner and Sen.Allen.

5. WaPo $100K 2002
Tuesday, June 11, 2002

Virginia House Speaker S. Vance Wilkins Jr. (R) is dogged by new allegations of improper sexual advances following claims that Jennifer L. Thompson, a worker at an office complex he used, received a $100,000 settlement from Wilkins after he allegedly harassed her several times last year. An increasing number of politicians say Wilkins should be removed from the speakership if he does not resign.
