Romney in Nevada - Party of Hypocrisy

As a political pragmatist, I think it is a bad idea in the current anti-immigrant environment to provide drivers licenses to undocumented aliens. I do agree, however, that Eliot Spitzer was making a good faith, albeit politically dumb, effort to solve a problem in New York.

Mitt Romney came to Las Vegas yesterday to say he would cut off federal funds to states that permit undocumented aliens to get drivers licenses. He received loud applause from his GOP audience.

Why doesn't the national press ever mention that Mormon-dominated red state Utah come to the same decision as Eliot Spitzer did?

Have there been local Utah media discussions recently about this issue?
